he has 14k buildings, i have 6k

why am i only killing 25 buildings, that seems useless...

cause most spy ops are useless :P There's been a number of discussions about tweaking them, with little or nothing being set in stone.

Actually I particularly like bomb buildings. While the total buildings destroyed seems low, 1 or 2 of those buildings are CS. You can more than double their turns required rebuilding per turn of successful spying.

In general though, spying is much weaker than a lot of us would like it to be, especially with spy DR effectively capping the danger.

i think all harmful ops are related to spiers things so if wants to bomb buildings then better have alot buildings.

CD/demo/Bomb airbases are good
Destroy buildings op is only harmful if you use them with ABs.

Everything else just suck.

I think all destroy X resource ops should become steal X resource, destroying none of it and taking a good chunk out of them, if that was the case then spy ops would be useful even with the current Spy DR.

Stealing oil stocks, cash stocks, etc... And the one that kills spies is utter fluff, change it to "remove detection threat": a spy op that reduces spy DR in 3 everytime it is successful :D

it is actually very strong if you have the same building as the defender... And it seems to destroy more CS than ABs.

similarily with other things, you prob need to be more equal in the # of buildings you have with the target to get max returns possible.

I've had weird experiences with bomb airbases, both times fighting countries similar to me with jets home, one time I bombed massive amounts of jets and the other time it was basically worthless

Well you're over looking one important point.

In a successful op you lose nothing.

If an opponent has a couple mil tanks or turrets you're going to lose quite a bit of resources with AB's or BR's.
