I'm in GDI, the target I hit isn't.

Here's what happened:
I double tapped a target
He missiles me once successfully
I can't missile or AB him back though because of GDI (not humanitarians, he's still in range)

Is this right?

I think they allow one 'hit' with out it breaking gdi

That's for an SS/PS I thought, does it apply to non-gdi countries breaking GDI countries GDI?

primary gdi should prevent all non-ss/ps attacks (incl. harmful ops) if gdi hasn't been broken.

otherwise normal gdi-limits should apply aka you are not allowed to commit offensive acts against countries greater than twice your size or smaller than half your size.

although wiki doesn't specify differences between normal and v2 gdi.

Right but this is also clearly a special where country A is in GDI and opens up his GDI to country B who is non-GDI. Country B can special OP/missile country A now but country A can't do it back to country B.

Bee, it shouldn't be the case. as long as anyone fires a missile out, his GDI is broken, whether you or he is in GDI doesn't matter. check if you have selected the correct country.

I don't fully remember how Primary GDI is supposed to work - that was probably Slagpit who designed that - so somebody else who knows the system better should probably weigh in here...

I am under the assumption that 2 or more attacks of any kind break GDI. A single missile is less than 2 attacks, hence GDI is not broken yet.

Probably need someone to look at the code to figure it out.

and just recently some1 asked on primary talk how to retal with missiles since gdi prevents him doing it.

Double hitting breaks your GDI to them. You are no longer protected from them. They get 1 attack of ANY kind without breaking it back towards you. Remember, GDI works both ways. Your GDI protects both you AND the other guy, regardless of if they are in it or not.
