and now I'm really confused. when did this thing start? I think the 3rd is the accurate date because if I hit previous round, it says the previous round ended on the 2nd. But then maybe that's wrong too

same thing in alliance (and everywhere too most likely), start day 1 day early and no end date.

the top players page indicates when the round was initiated; not when it starts; i guess that's misleading perhaps; but technically your scores start 24h before the round, because people have countries in protection with 0 turns.....

so does that mean all the old rounds started 1 day later than they say? could some of them have started 2 days after it says?

yes if there was problem which prevented set to start (some fuzzy memory says alliance had that kind of prob long ago).

Yes. For example, you will notice that there is no "1 day down time" gap between resets if you look.

I was just wondering with Feb. being only 28 days how short this round is going to be compared to the last few. If all the dates are wrong it's hard to figure it out

all *alliance/ffa* resets are 60 days long

It's always 60 days blid. But the date range will always show 61 days in the Top Players links.

it can show 62 in top players if the end fell before the end of the month; by using 1 or 2 day breaks in between we can guide it towards the first of the month usually
