For the last while I have had to punch in the captcha code every single time I log in, which usually means multiple times per day.

This is very annoying.

Luckily I have not had to login to stonewall via my phone yet. When that day comes and I get screwed because I have to enter captcha again for the 4th time that day, expect a much more aggressive post :P

his tip was to do hard refresh to get js updated

I am yet to login from my phone since the changes were made, only from comp, but I have to enter it multiple times a day from my comp. Thus that description is false.

Hi All,

As promised, the new captcha system is finally finished!

Now, multiple devices are tracked independently, and on each you will have to answer a captcha once per week, assuming you have JS enabled. If you don't have JS enabled, you will get a captcha every login. Most (99%) of people should have JS enabled, so that should not be a problem.

As an example:

05:00 Login to computer : captcha
06:00 Login to phone : captcha
07:00 Login to computer : NO captcha
08:00 Login to phone : NO captcha
09:00 Login at work: captcha
10:00 Login to phone: NO captcha
12:00 Login at work: NO captcha

...

6 days later, same 3 devices, NO captcha


Then, on the 7th day, you will get prompted for a captcha IF YOU ARE NOT BEING ATTACKED (last 150 seconds)! If you *are* being attacked, you will get prompted the next day, on the 8th day, whether or not you're being attacked. However, as long as you have JS enabled, you'll be allowed to click the Delay 8 hours button *ONCE*, as long as it's not the first time you're on that device.

yes I've read that as well, but as my comments is suggesting, that isn't how it is actually functioning.

H4, what browser are you using? do you have JS enabled? did you hard-refresh at the login page?

Do you typically login via the Login Bubble, or using the Standard Form?

Is your un/pwd saved in your browser?

if you view-source there should be a capabilities.(timestamp).js ... what is the timestamp ?

I fixed it last night for IE10 and saved un/pwd, but I'm sure I could have missed something...

what browser? qz might want to know that.

Also, what url are you going to? http://www. or m. ? or some dev version?

it works fine for me on firefox and on blackberry

do we still have to captcha because we forgot about daily bonus?

because that is also annoying...

I noticed when logging on from the phone, on non-mobile site yesterday it captcha'ed me. Then a bit later I went on again but this time went to the mobile site and it captcha'ed again. Same device, just swapped between mobile and non-mobile.

I'll be looking at the mobile shortly
