doesn't take me into an irc chatroom. it just gives me a page that states "it works". i figure it's probably some kinda security setting on my end.

its an irc server that needs to be accessed with a client like mIRC on port 6667. that 'it works' message is just the default message saying the webserver on port 80 works.
