This is really old. No one likes getting their posts or threads deleted. When mods do it, it should be mandatory to send a private message to that user with the reason. Really, I barely play anymore but I do like to participate on the boards. Its sour grapes when you make the effort to post and then it simply vanishes. This suggestion has been made time and time again. WTF. It isn't even a programming thing, although it could be.

I try to do this myself; I'll see if I can convince everybody else to
Finally did the signature thing.

Aponic,

I don't think the forum moderators are all that unreasonable.. (At least when I was a moderator,) posts were usually deleted when they contained inflammatory material towards other players, game moderators or the game itself.

Its the moderators' job to ensure that everyone's experience is as enjoyable as possible, and its at their discretion to remove objectionable posts.

Like most other forums or social circles on the internet, you do not have a right to free speech. You don't own the boards, nor have you been given the privilege of determining what is appropriate content for others. Until that changes, you'll just have to learn to be a responsible poster and live with missing posts when you're not. If your stuff gets deleted, it's not generally a subject for discussion.

yeah, its assoholic, but right.

My post wasn't recently deleted GE and I appreciate your cantor, but your post really doesn't relate to my proposition that a general protocol be established.

the general protocol IS, if you're gonna be a douche and/or disrespect people, expect your post(s) to be deleted. don't expect a conversation over it.. it was probably deleted for good reason.

Cry some more. Posts have been getting deleted off of message boards for decades without explanation from the ones deleting them. Don't expect the admins here to coddle your little ego just because they happen to actually play the game.

Man, people are stupid.
I am a troll. Everything I say must be assumed to be said solely to provoke an exaggerated reaction to the current topic. I fully intend to bring absolutely no substance to any discussion, ongoing or otherwise. Conversing with me is pointless.
