id love 2 see a 1hr game of earth about 3000 turns

sounds like a fun idea. I'm not nearly smart enough to figure out how you'd balance it though lol. you'd certainly have to use the express gdi rules or fools would be dying left and right.

Well 1 hour is 3600 seconds. Running 3600 turns in 3600 seconds... As interesting as a "1 turn per second" server sounds, it sounds TOO quick for me lol.

goods hit market in 1 min or under so it would be hectic, basically every 10 turns players would put goods on market.

Well, I just don't see myself spending 60 turns in 1 minute, for 1 whole hour!

Well Express only has 1800 turns so this game wouldn't need 3000 necessarily. I played a few of those first "Express" games Mehul used to advertise but I don't remember how long they were... I think several hours. You could have a 2 to 4 hour game with 1800-2400 turns.

mehul's expeesses lasted 1-2 days (weekend games).

I think it sounds like fun and I don't think balance matters much. Since it only lasts one hour, just run it and see what breaks, tweek and run it again the next night.

I'd say run the 1 hr "set" 3-4 times a day for folks in different time zones.

1 turn every 20 secs and ps resting time is 1-5 minutes, dr would last 10-15 mins.
