Team server is 96 turns per day
Alliance/FFA are 72 turns per day
Tournament is ~58 turns per day
Primary is 48 turns per day

Express is 360 turns per day. That is 3.75 to 7.5 times as many turns per day as the other servers.

I suggest that DR in Express should wear off after 6 or 8 hours, rather than 24 hours like other servers.

I understand, but it should be made 12h instead so people can actually sleep... 6-8h is a bit much if you look at it RL-time wise.

You need to be in DR to sleep?

Maybe Rockman is playing Express again and noticing how ridiculous it is that every country out there is in DR all the time.

hrmz. i play express without ever being in extensive DR. it's a hard strategy to play for some. you need to plan well to gain all the land you want and defend it well enough during the time that you're still in DR.

the last time i've seen someone successfully pull this off was JJ a long time ago, and he used other people for some spyops, etc. Granted, i haven't paid too much attention to express before last round for quite some time, but i still don't see this as a huge problem.

lowering DR will only increase the land ratio between attackers and all-x, as attackers will gain far more from their attacks while explorers will still have to stick to their table.

i always thought a better suggestion would be to remove the "i've attacked you" sin after 2 or 3 days, giving those in GDI the chance to hit the same country again a few days later without the possibility of being suicided on. this would be good for those noobs that don't know of the existence of sites such as eestats.com to make sure that they haven't hit someone in the round just to get suicided on at the end for hitting them a second time.

i dunno.. being in DR is way to play. i don't understand why everyone needs to play the exact same way in a STRATEGY game.

encouraging having a friend just gs you 100 times a day for 5 days in express so you can still do 40 grabs a day and be in full dr with no ghost acres is lame

i dont know if there currently a collusion clause in express

yep. lots of people. DR strategy normally involves making yourself look yummy, like 7k acres with no defense.. 1JetPS ftw!

then you hope that some nub will hit you like 15-20 times so you can make quite a few grabs in 24 hours but still stay in DR before you get your defense to an acceptable level.

obvious this is just an actual friend not a multi, and the effort to grab a friend 3-4 times over 5 days isnt a lot to ask someone
