Restarting has gotten to the point where if a country is ABed/BRed starting out, they will kill themselves (other than pressing the self delete key), to get the perks of a fresh restart.

FOR EXAMPLE, lol you got 3 kills (#1008) in the alliance server just dropped all land and had one of their allies SS kill him so he can start out w/ full CS, cash, ect... This is silly as its the same thing as self-deleting pretty much.

PLZ MAKE A FIX FOR THIS

give us more money and some of our military when we restart

if you break me down to fourteen troops, i understand not recovering any of them. but my jets, my turrets and my tanks should still be available for recovery by my eleven thousand some odd civilians i restart with.

obviously it would be a small % of what i had before, but still, might be fun.

Simple to fix.

Make land kills not count towards restart bonuses, just like self-deleting doesn't count towards restart bonuses.

its easy to fluff up restart atm, just ab it and player is parking lot.

Marshal, he's saying that people who have restarted and are fluffed up by AB's etc are getting people to land kill them so that they can restart again.

I don't see it as much of a problem. Having experience with this tactic:

- you have to go back to playing 100 turns to get oop again
- you restart with relatively little cash compared to building costs
- you are likely to just get ab'd or br'd down again when you come oop
- you come oop as nice farmland for your enemy.

qzjul already made a counting and showed pretty clear, that there is no point to self-kill country unless it very very ruined.

But well, may i ask other. AB run is 100 hits, max 150. So, whats bad if you kill country with 100-150 hits?

yea cause ~3.5k unbuilt acres and ~10 bpt sux and alot, before abs had ~1k unbuilt and decent income but after abs nothing except expenses and due farming what gets built in 1 day is lost.

country w/o much buildings etc or fresh restart with nice bpt.

like i said on other thread i got ab'd 40 times and lost 160 cs's and well over 1k buildings total and what i get daily is lost to lgers.

LAF did it today too... Just sayin... May as well take away all hits other than SS/PS on restarts if this is gonna roll

Right now most people are starting with 160 CS+, so that's turns saved by coming OOP again, is it not?

Also, its easy to get a nice indy build to avoid being AB/BRed into the ground... Most of the people SOL is hitting have zero to none tanks/turrets and are sitting on turn 100 instead of saving turns at 99.. It doesn't take that much knowledge to find a way around this issue.

Also, whatever happened to FA for restarts?

The funny thing about that comment is that last set when I died my final time in the war I had a BPT of over 80 I think. It was DEFINITELY better to have been killed than parking lotted at that point. I'd say restarts should get less BPT and more money or somesuch. Perhaps someone can find an incentive to not restart but instead rebuild. Or maybe just limit CS losses a bit more.

having tanks doesn't mean anything, my orig. had 12.5k and 25k tanks but still got ab'd twice.
