If I spy on targets and their allies for attacks (not using any black ops) and it happens to be 00:15 game time or so, and then I want to attack again the next day when my forces come back, there won't be enough spy ops allowed left to spy on my targets. It's kind of a pain to run out of ops when you're just spying for attacks and not even warring or doing harmful ops.

You only have 48 turns / day excluding bonuses, I think 35 ops is sufficient.

Spy target, ally spy target, then spy his 2 allies. That is 4 spy ops per target, so if you PS 5x, that is 20 ops.

You will fail a few, but you will also not be able to spy a few (due to humanitiarians), and many targets will only have 1 or no D allies (in the latter case, you don't even need to ally spy).

So maybe you'll end up using maybe 25 spy ops max in a day, which is about half of your daily allowance.

If you think about it, isn't spying 20-25 times daily out of 54 daily turns a lot of turns that you could be doing other things like building CSes? :P

25 isn't "about half" of 35. It's over 70%. 35 is plenty for one day but if the game's mindight crosses you funny, you only get 17.5 per day, which isn't enough to make your grabs.

And a lot of times, I can spy on a guy, see his SPAL isn't too high, and nevertheless fail four times before getting a spy on allies to go through. Something like that and boom, minimum 8 ops for one target, and if you cross midnight wrong, you only have 17.5 ops per day, so that's about half (hehe) of your ops to make one grab.

Simply just do hit every 24 hours instead of 20!
