So as this tech is pretty worthless unless you plan on grabbing a lot.

So my thought is.....

How about it also works on a defensive stance? The more you have, the less land you give up when you get grabbed.

Might make it more of a necessity tech like SDI and give a little extra market dynamic.

Especially in solo servers.

The only downside I see is that it makes it a very good tech which just increases the demand for techers. Otherwise I think it is a great suggestion. (and very similar to adding medical tech reciprocity, which I think would be less of a boon for techers)

Interesting. Could make land harder to come by right? Smaller grabs on guys with mil strat tech. A guy with maxed mil strat tech might be seen as not worth the time. Would 140% mean he only loses 60% of normal losses? Not opposed to it, just thinking it through here.

I think it would promote grabbing. It would just take more grabs to get your land. Also, it doesn't mean the ghost acres would change. Just the amount of land lost from the individual country.

But ya....I guess I didn't really think about it being a bonus for techers....but at the same time it could flood the market just as easily.

It can also be done in a way that is one sided.

For example, the country that is hit has lower losses, but the country attacking can reap the same benefit regardless of the defenders tech level through ghost acres.

I think making land even harder to come by is negative for some of the servers.

Well, the problem I see though, is that if the attacker has 120% strategy, and the defender also has 120% strategy, then that effectively cancels each other out. Just like how it would work if both sides have 120% weapons.

Not a bad suggestion.

I don't have a problem with this - but one side affect is that it will encourage grabbing all-ex players.

Military Strategy tech is already a very powerful and useful technology. If we boost a tech to make it stronger, it should be medical tech or spy tech.

Yeah, medical should work both ways before mil strat does.

Spy tech is pretty decent as it is, just since it's such a secondary tech there's always something better to spend my money on. Maybe if the max was increased.

Medical tech doesn't work both ways? Strat tech is indeed a very powerful tech. I use it about as much as I use weapons.

WHen will any of these be implemented? Next year?

Med tech only works for defense currently.

I hope next set, RAs and OAs are gone, more than I hope for any other change. :)

Man I seriously can't stand you, Rockman.....

This is a suggestion forum.....this was my suggestion. I don't do a lot of warring on solo servers (moron). When I thought of this, I was thinking on a Primary or Tourney server. I am sure it will still work on the alliance/team/ffa servers as well.

I never said medical or spy tech shouldn't be looked at.....

So...politely. F off.
