My ally in primary got hit by 2 countries whose NW is 10 million more. In response I went to attack back but a message popped up saying that my forces refuse to attack a country that much bigger then my own. Any way there can be a lift on that if you/your ally get hit by someone that much larger?

You need to get bigger. Your forces will refuse to attack someone whose defences are, iirc, 6 times bigger than yours.

What is the point attacking somone so much bigger? The damage you would do wold be negligible.

The best thing to do is try to figure out how to improve your game so that you are in a better position to both retal and defend yourself from being attacked.

It would just make me feel better to be able to retaliate.

If there is a refusal to attack someone bigger I see no reason that it cant work the other way as well.

It does work both ways while they are attacking you. They attack you when very close to 4 times as big then get bigger than that as they are playing turns so you can't attack back. Its not really fair, I agree.

But we don't know if that happened here, as lardassnik was not the one attacked. I can tell you lardass that if you bounced on a random big guy who had not hit you, you would promptly find yourself out some land.

True I would be out of land. Though it does make for an interesting round.

Actually, no it doesn't make for an interesting land. Chances are you would still lose the land if not to him, to someone else.
