What about a relations for sharing tech? Seeing as Techer is really the dominant netting strat, if done right, this could take a little away from them and give the other strats a little boost.

So do you mean replacing tech allies such that instead of free tech creation, instead allies share their tech with one another? If so I think this is a solid, workable idea. I also know it is something the admins have considered and discussed.

Not replacing it just adding a new tech relations that allow you to share tech. I'm not a numbers guy, so couldn't tell you what the percents should be to make it fair/workable, but I think it could boost all strats while doing a little reduction of power to techer. It would even be good for alliances to ally up farms/cashers/commies to gain tech bonuses from the techers in the alliance.

He isn't. Techer IS the dominant strategy in Alliance (due to the extreme difficulty of obtaining land), just as much as Commie Indy is on Primary (due to the ease of obtaining land).

So techer is NOT the dominant strat then.
