I thought it was pretty much a given that most countries would shoot their missiles at anyone who LG'd them. If you spy before a LG and see a bunch of missiles, you know you're taking a risk.

ppl do that for any lg's on this server though. for all the talk about wah wah theos, the bigger problem is LGing. if you multi tap you get what you get. but i ran a dict farmer a few sets back and did not touch anyone more then once. i still got suicided on because somebody decided to be a girl about being grabbed.

It sucks to get grabbed more than once, but to go ruin your chances at a top finish and the set of someone else over a double tap is (IMO) over reacting. Hit some one more than twice however and, well, take what comes back and learn from it.

To "suicide" however means that the attacking country died after executing their retaliation. I do not think this term applies here and is widely over used. (Pet peeve) What you really mean to say is that someone ruined your chances at a top finish for the set and also took themselves out of contention at the same time. Unless you were able to come back and kill their country for the offense?

There is an LG problem: there are not enough countries for the grabbing countries to feed off of without doing 2x-10x grabs. If I find a good LG in express, I'm going to take full advantage of the situation. Don't want to get farmed? Get some defense or at least a few spies! BTW, defense doesn't have to be turrets. Tanks or troops can be a good lg deterrent, too if you have enough of them. I'd also think twice about grabbing someone with a ton of nukes since that's just going to be counterproductive. point is, if you're running a low-d country and get farmed, that's your own fault and you have no room to fluff lol

You are correct dantzig. There is no reason to fluff. Each country gets enough turns per day to kill any other country. Don't whine here. Just kill the offending country in the most efficient manner and be done with it.

2 hits on you in a 24hr period is not (IMO) justification to kill someone. 10 however is more than enough!

i like to use lots of turrets, then more than neccissary troops and tanks. i find this messes up most grabbers and i end up with more DH's than actual successful grabs against me.

term behind suiciding is that they not only ruin your chances for a top 10 finish they ruin there own. Like deerhunter this set he suicided on me. I had 1.2 million tanks he burnt of enough tanks to level my country. if your wondering what that would be like cost wise just the tanks would have been aproxamitley 700-900m depending on the market. never mind the 300$ barrel of oil.

Suiciding is a blanket term that has been used as long as I can remember a to describe anything having to do with 1 country, or in some cases small tags, making specialized attacks or just outright farming a tag or individual player.

It's not a literal interpretation of the term suicide, just an all encompassing term that's easier than writing out every individual "suicider's" crimes (real or perceived).

Kinda like saying you're gonna kick someone's ass when you don't have any intention of actually kicking them in the ass....even if you're actually going to hurt them.

and the term makes great sense in other servers with clans and multiple members to help take out the offender

just kinda hoping there could be a different term applied to the action on this server since that one is a bad fit

i couldn't come up with one on my own so was hoping someone else had an idea of another more fitting term

we could call it Bauer'ing except he is committing suicide so that doesn't really work here

Ive got it!!! Instead of Suicided on we will say they got jiffed. Any time someone gets attacked for no reason we will say they got jiffed.
