Is it a common thing with multies and/or collusions?

I've noticed that if you attack someone then poof suddenly some random 2k acre guy without any alliances starts burning your oil and whatnot.

Also people seem to use these accounts to gather intel as some very suspicious patterns emerge.

Are these just random and I'm paranoid or whats going on here?

Ratski has a "neighbor" that does what you are describing quite often. Apparently they're not cheating though.

Otherwise, I've seen some crazy coincidences with timing but this is a fast paced and active server so it usually is just a coincidence. I haven't seen many counties purpled in express in awhile. Overall, it's pretty clean from what I can tell.

Fair enough, so while I'm on the forums, this gdi thing, I understand that if you hit the same player more than once you unlock the hostile things, but can't find any information about gdi and theft, like can you spend 100 turns stealing someones cash without unlocking hostile operations?

I believe any of the harmful ops (bomb banks, raid oil, raid food, etc.) are treated just like attacking. Anything more than once and you are "breaking" GDI protection.

Standard spy ops do not break GDI.

I admittedly do not ever use harmful ops on this server, so I could be mistaken.
