I have not heard from Ike or Polgara in ages it would be nice if they poped in from time to time. Dragon talks to Pol on facebook now and again. Would love to see Snoop, xynx, Bargwann, totti, and the rest again. As well as Cisco, Rommy, Peki, El, rats and the rest. PlayGirl (PG) is playing somewhere on here. I remember her from back in the day as well as Dragon of course.

I kinda thought playing 6 could have something to do with playing mixed strats. Myself I pick one strat for all my countries and just go with it.

Twain, my thinking was just that. The 4 country configuration is simpler. It's easier to keep 4 countries balanced to the same size for max benifit than it would be 6. However Marshal was so exacting in saying "and run 6 countries" I figured he had a reason for 6 over 4 or 8 countires, some little benifit or tweek I had not thought of. I like to study the way others play and what their reasoning is for thier play style. This is a game of math first but it's also a game of sociology. If I can understand how and why people play the way they do it could benifit my play/scores.

Hold On guys, It was a real question I was asking. I was interested in the reasoning as the 6 configuration does work although the 4 configuration is all I have known people to use.

6 Country Configuration
Country A - allies B-C-D
Country B - allies A-E-F

LOL, all that stock. There was no stock what so ever. It was still the land gaining phase. Just fat easy kill targets with little military and the wrong tech to fight with.

LOL, difference is there is no counter measure for netters. Kinda one sided as it is and it seems to me there just may not be a place in the ffa for netters anymore. Back in the Day netter clans got blind sided for no reason then other war clans would have dropped their plans and nailed the offender big time.

LOL, This game needs a new weapon. A netting bomb. Once used on a country that country and any replacemets countries for it can only do LG's and no special attacks. That way netters can force fighters to net in the same way fighters try and force netters to war. It would be just to fuuny to watch thier reactions to a netting bomb.

the only reason for me to have kept playing was to keep my netting stats in the top group. That's gone so there is no reason to play this game anymore. I'm done till at least next year and maybe not even then. I had my share of war when I played in DWAR (years of it) and just found it to be an even bigger waste of time than netting.
