err I do believe you? what don't I believe? didn't you read what i wrote? 43 buildings isn't a super weapon but they would normally have only gotten 27 buildings or so

That is 16 more buildings on a 109 acre grab.

160 more buildings on a 1090 acre grab I assume?

What if the networths were closer?

Anyways, I think people should just let it go for now, let's see how it plays out at the end of the reset, if some Dictators are getting a far superiod land gain, and end up taking a portion of top finishes where they shouldn't have, then more power to it. But if that portion becomes significant enough that it shouldn't be, then maybe it should be nerfed.

to work this to your advantage it really helps to grab someone playing the same strat. say a dict-techer grabbing another techer and getting mostky res. buildings will go a long way

OMG, Enshula, you have become an accountant in my absence. :(

I hardly make grabs anyway, so this change will not really change anything for me and my dictatorship.

This is a good change. It allows a player running a dict to be better at wargaining. As for the netgaining, I'll have to get back to you on that when I find someone with some netter skills that runs a dict to tell me what they think.

As for me, it gets me one step closer to convincing my alliance mates to agree that a good way to start off a war is with a synchronized land grab.>:)

Varsus, Qz nerfed most of this and effectively killed Dictatorship as a viable netting strat two sets ago (in June), and I have verifiable proof.

Two countries, separated by two sets one before the change, and one after... similar land-size, similar tech levels, different bushel production levels and vastly different finishing networths.

These changes KILLED Dict Farmer.

Stryke perhaps if you actually decided you wanted to learn to play and didnt leave your damned production levels at 20% all set long and asked for help you would be able to find out that Dictator is still very strong. I had a terrible set in alliance and I'll finish close to 200mill. Stop saying things are useless when you either dont know or dont make an effort to learn. Making excuses wont change anything.

Locket: At the start of each set, I take production levels from 20% everything to 100% spies.

Set 20: http://www.earthempires.com/ffa/20/ranks/416
With #416, when I switched gov'ts was 71,962 Farms, 275 CS. I was producing 963,409 bushels a turn before destock with maybe ~200% Agri.

Set 22: http://www.earthempires.com/ffa/22/ranks/1
With #1, when I switched I had 72,894 Farms, 100 Indys and 400 CS. I was producing ~746,000 bushels a turn before destock with maybe ~194% Agri.

Yep, the problem is totally Stryke. Destocks as Theo - Bad (Hint: Demo late PM+Pub destock is better at huge 75k acres, convert to Demo before start of stocking). Doesn't have a single point in Res/Bus techs - VERY bad (Hint: 172-175%). Doesn't have max Agri - Very Bad. Doesn't have max Military tech despite destocking as a Theo - VERY bad (Hint: 89% for Theo).

Look, I played poorly, yes. However, I had the choice of wasting much needed cash on tech... or stockpiling it for my jump. I chose the latter. Either way, I do not play Dictatorship for anything outside of wars anymore, so consider it lesson learned.

actually u didnt learn anything, like always u disregard all advice and think you can do it better, just look at your landtrading, pollex and i have told you exactly what to do but u still follow weird and wasteful patterns.

as i have told you, there is nothing wrong with the dict farmer or cashier strat IF u play it correctly.
