Actually I did the same thing. Given the activity level of our alliance forum, I may come here more since it's a lot more active, and with a few posts a day I might actually get to know some people. Plus it's possible a few people already know me.
It's my first time playing any earth at all in like 3 years. I really didn't know exactly what to expect, but with such a small number of players, it's not unreasonable that I can build some social relationships that may indirectly allow my team to prosper a little more.
Absolutely right Terror, youll manage but it migh take you a few attempts.
My tip is for you to make sure you have some very retal-capable countries from early on in the reset, preferably a Commie/indy and then have a Tyr/techer or some such come in afterwards to back it up. If your team lacks protection you are usually in some serious trouble on this server as it is very aggressive.
